Frequently asked questions
Does your foundation accept requests for weapons and send them to the front line?
No, we do not buy any lethal equipment/weapons. We support only defense strategies, which include medical aid and accoutrements.
I don’t want to support the war. How can I help?
We completely understand your position. We at UAID are focused at saving people's lives, not putting them at risk. A lot of our efforts are also devoted to evacuating civilians, as soldiers who receive equipment from us use it to rescue people from the front lines.
Can I track how the money I donated to the foundation was used?
Of course. Our financial reporting is fully transparent. We provide detailed information in our social media, once the goods are delivered and received by the person who’s made the request. Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook for these updates.
The war has been going on for a while now. Is it still possible to help?
Sure! Although Ukrainians are fearlessly defending their country from the enemy, your help is highly needed. Lots of different needs arise non-stop. Every dollar matters.
Who do you work with? Who do you not work with?
We work with individual/group requests, signed and sealed by a commander of a unit. As soon as we receive the documented request, we launch the donation campaign and start working on logistics.
Why should I choose UAID among all the charity foundations?
The advantage of UAID assistance is its direct address handling.
We cover medium-sized requests: large charitable foundations usually do not work with them, because they are engaged in the procurement of large quantities of goods, and independent volunteers often focus on smaller and more specific things.
We are constantly in contact with the people from the front line, and therefore receive the most urgent requests, which we can quickly process and help purposefully and in a short time.
